Frontend Engineer

About the role
We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who cares deeply about the quality of user interfaces — accessibility, performance, and implementation precision. You will work closely with our design team and senior engineers to implement design system components and product features for client web applications.
What you will do
- Implement design systems and UI components in React and Next.js with Tailwind CSS
- Optimise frontend performance — Core Web Vitals, bundle size, and render efficiency
- Build accessible interfaces meeting WCAG 2.1 AA standards
- Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-accurate, interaction-faithful implementations
- Write unit and integration tests for frontend components
- Participate in code review with a focus on performance and accessibility
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional frontend development experience
- Strong React and TypeScript skills
- Next.js experience including App Router and Server Components
- Tailwind CSS proficiency
- Understanding of Core Web Vitals and frontend performance optimisation
Nice to have
- Accessibility experience — WCAG, screen reader testing, ARIA
- Animation experience with Framer Motion or CSS animations
- Storybook component development experience
- React Native experience
