Usability Testing & Analysis

You are not your user. Usability testing with real people reveals the gap between how you think your product works and how users actually experience it. We design and run testing programmes that surface actionable insights, not just interesting observations.

// Key benefits

What makes this service valuable

Moderated and unmoderated options

Moderated sessions allow deep exploration of mental models and unexpected behaviours. Unmoderated testing scales to more participants faster. We choose the right method for your questions and budget.

Task-based scenario design

Usability tests are only as good as the tasks. We design realistic, unbiased task scenarios that reveal genuine user behaviour — not curated demonstrations.

Insight-driven analysis

Raw observations become actionable recommendations through rigorous analysis — identifying patterns across participants, prioritising by frequency and severity, and mapping to specific design improvements.

Learning from real users, not assumptions

Usability testing is the most direct way to understand what is happening when users interact with your product. Five participants can reveal 85% of usability problems in a critical flow.

We design testing programmes with clear research questions, appropriate participant recruitment, and systematic analysis. Our reports do not just document what happened — they explain why, and what to do about it.

// FAQ

Common questions about usability testing & analysis

How many participants do I need for usability testing?+

Five participants reveal approximately 85% of usability problems in a given flow — the standard recommendation for qualitative usability testing. For quantitative benchmarking, 20+ participants are needed. We recommend 5–8 participants per research round, then iterate.

Can you recruit participants for usability testing?+

Yes — participant recruitment is part of our testing service. We define screening criteria with you and recruit from our panel or online recruitment platforms like UserZoom, Respondent, or User Interviews.

Do you conduct remote or in-person testing?+

Both. Remote moderated testing via Zoom is most common and allows participants from any geography. In-person is available in Bangalore. Unmoderated testing is remote by definition.
